Hi everyone,

Today i want to talk about memory keeping!

If you are anything like me you have 100's of photos on your phone, tablet, computer that you fully intend to do something with but you never have the time.

Traditional scrapbooking can be time consuming and in the fast paced world we live in a quicker method to display those precious memories is needed.

We've all seen the adds for printed photo books, but I've always found them to be a bit sterile which is why i am so happy to introduce you to Memories & More.

Memories & More is a pocket page memory keeping system.  With both 12" x 12" and 6" x 8" album options you can combine traditional scrapbook layouts with simple pocket pages for a fast but beautiful project.

Each card pack contains 72 gorgeous double sided cards in 2 sizes as well as some co-ordinating extras like stickers or acetate sheets.  You can do a simple layout with a picture in 1 pocket with a card next to it with a note or step it up with stickers, ribbons or anything else you like!

To make this even easier the card packs all use the exclusive Stampin' Up! colours, giving you endless possibilities for your memory keeping!

And now comes the best bit!

It's called Memories & More, so here comes the More!

Many of the cards can be easily turned into beautiful cards!

I have decided to run a special offer to encourage you to get those pictures off your phones and into an album so take a look!

Order a 6" x 8" album, a pack of pocket pages and any card pack and receive a free pack of journalling pens worth £4.50.

OR

Order a 12" x 12" album, a pack of pocket pages and any card pack and not only will you get the pens for free but I'll add in a little pack of goodies that coordinate with your card pack!

So pop along to my online shop at lilacdaisycrafts.stampinup.net  between now and 1st October to place your order or get in touch for more information!

And don't forget to use the host code 64QQVS6R when you order!

I'm back!!

hi all, sorry for the absence. Things have been crazy busy!!

So here's an update!

Firstly I have a beautiful new logo!!!

What do you think??????  I love it!

In April  Stampin' Up held its fantastic Onstage event to launch the new catalogue! I wasn't fortunate enough to attend this but all the photos have been amazing and I'm looking forward to the event in November!

And finally, it's nearly catalogue launch time!  Now I've been able to look at the new catalogue and trust me that it is amazing!  The official launch day is 1st June so between now and then the retiring products from the current catalogue are on sale, many at discount!  Get over to my site lilacdaisycrafts.stampinup.net and check them out. Last chance to buy!!!!!

I've got a few of the new goodies already, (the perks of being a demo!) and this week i have been showcasing the Eastern Palace Suite over on my Facebook page, This is available to order now!! so if you like what you see get in touch to find out how you can order it!

This card is one i made for a make and take at a demonstrator event. I made the die cuts directly onto the card base then stuck some cardstock behind it. I think it worked really well and I'm keen to try it out with different dies!

This is quite a simple card made using some of the beautiful new Eastern Palaces Speciality DSP.

I did a little bit of fussy cutting on this one and incorporated some of the gold vinyl stickers!

I love how versatile this set is. You can completely change the look of these dies just by using one of the layering circles to cut it out or simply snipping it out!

This is one of my favourites!  Just stamps and ink!!

And last, but not least, something a little bit different!  Its not just about cards!!!

I hope you've enjoyed looking at what you can do with this bundle!  Keep an aye on facebook for more sneak peaks and details of my launch event!!

bye for now!

Everyone loves a Freebie!

Hi everyone,

I thought I'd take this opportunity to tell you about Stampin Rewards.

There are 2 ways to earn Stampin Rewards.  The first is to host a party.  Any orders made during the event (or after) are placed together under a host code and, once the total reaches £150,  you start to earn rewards for the hostess!

You then get to choose how to spend them, there are even some hostess exclusives that can only be purchased with stampin rewards!

The other way you can earn them is when you shop online through my store. Now you have to spend over £150 before you earn any rewards, and as much as we all love the amazing Stampin Up products its not often we can spend that much in one go, so here's where I come in!

Every month I will set up a host code which I will post in this blog and send out to my customers by email.  You can enter this code when you are at the check out and your order will be added to my "party".  At the end of the month I will close the party and, assuming we have hit £150 in sales I will split the rewards between us.

I will choose the item (we all love a surprise) and post it out to everyone who has spent £20 or more in a single transaction!

Of course, the more you spend, the greater the rewards and the bigger the surprise!

This months host code is  EUACC7DH  so head over to lilacdaisycrafts.stampinup.net  and get shopping, or get in touch with me through Stampin Up to find out more about hosting a party!

Back soon with the projects I'm working on at the moment.

Bye for now!

This weeks project!

This week I needed a Thank You card for my daughters childminder so naturally I decided to make one.

I decided on a pink theme and found a flower stamp and came up with this,

I used whisper white and pink pirouette card stock and ink in pink pirouette, blushing bride and pear pizzazz..
I didn't want the stamped image to look coloured in so I used a technique where you use a blender pen to put the ink on.  This way you get a lovely shaded look which works beautifully with the flowers..

I'm very pleased with the finished card, but having made one I had ideas for another!

This time I used wisteria wonder and wild wasabi ( I love the colour names Stampin Up use!) and added some Wink of Stella (glitter). To a few petals to make them stand out!
I also turned one of the flower stamps round so it looks like they are facing each other, instead of looking in the same direction.  It always surprises me how much you can change a project just by turning a stamp around.

The flower stamp is from the Natures Perfection set. This set is now retired but a similar flower can be found in the Oh So Succulent and So In Love stamp set.
The leaves and sentiments from the Paisleys and Posies set.

And don't forget, SALE-A-BRATION runs till 31st March which means you can choose a free item from the sale-a-bration catalogue for every £45 you spend!

Let me know which card is your favourite.

Back soon with more makes!

New venture!

WOW,   What a busy week!

Lilac Daisy Crafts is having a bit of a revamp as I move in a new direction.
I have joined the wonderful people at Stampin Up as an independent demonstrator!

For those of you who've never heard of Stampin Up, it is a direct sales Papercraft company. You cannot buy these products in shops. Only online or through a demonstrator, like me!

Apart from the quality of the products Stampin Up offer I love how easy everything is. The colours through all the ranges are perfect,  if you buy 'real red' card and ink they will be a perfect match and the colours coordinate so easily ideas are never far away. And for anyone new to Papercraft the kits are wonderful, they come with everything you need and are so easy to follow you'll wonder why you haven't tried it before.

My job as a demonstrator is to introduce you to the products. I can run workshops to teach you how a specific item is made or you can host a party at your home.  Invite the girls round for the evening and I'll come along and give a demonstration and everyone gets to make something to take home.

There are some amazing hostess rewards too, so the more orders I get, the bigger the reward for you!

I will be back soon with some examples of what I've made with Stampin Up's amazing products and details of how to order through my online shop and how to book a party.

In the meantime, go check out the website, www.stampinup.com or get in touch for more details!

Thursday 23 February 2017

Welcome to Lilac Daisy Crafts!

Hello! and welcome to my brand new blog!!!!

This is a new venture for me so please bare with me.

I thought I'd start by telling you a bit about me and what this blog will be about.

I'm a mum of 2 girls and I have always had a passion for crafting.  Since becoming a mum I have found it to be great for a bit of me time in the evenings, I've even sold a few bits of my jewellery for a bit of extra spending money (which has, naturally, been spent on more supplies!)

Over the years I think I've tried my hand at most things but jewellery and cards have won my heart.

Essentially I will use this blog to let you know what I'm up to. To show you the things I'm making and things that inspire me.

So watch this space and I look forward to hearing your comments.
